HOW I COLLECT AND USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA:
I collect and store personal information from you when you access my Websites, subscribe to my free newsletter, fill-out a form, respond to a questionnaire or survey, register for an event, register for information or other services, submit a job application, communicate with me via email or social media, or purchase one of my Products. I will make sure that your Personal Data is only processed to the extent necessary and for the agreed purposes. I will only collect the minimum amount of information necessary. The legal basis for this processing is to communicate with you and fulfil my obligation to you. I may collect:
1) A name, email address, and telephone number when you opt-in to receive any free resource, promotion, training program, or live event or when you respond to a survey, choose to purchase a Product, or use any other site feature. I will enroll you to receive my free newsletter if you affirmatively consent to it.
2) A name and email address when you use my contact form so that I can respond to your questions, and maybe send marketing emails with your consent.
3) Billing information, including a name, postal address, and credit/debit card information to process payments for a Product or Service that you choose to purchase from me.
All of the above personal information ('Personal Data') that you provide to me is voluntary and is given to me by you. By providing this information you are giving your consent for me to collect, store, and process this Personal Data. You may withdraw your consent at any time, and I will ensure you are informed of this right at all stages of our communication. Your information, whether public or private, will not be knowingly sold, exchanged, rented, transferred, or shared with any outside company or unrelated third party, other than for the purpose of delivering a Service (for example, a free resource) or processing, and delivering, a Product (for example, one-to-one mentoring sessions) that you have purchased from me.
OTHER INFORMATION I MAY COLLECT:
1) Automatic Data Collection Technology: I may collect data about your use of my Websites. This may include your computer’s IP address to help diagnose problems with my server, and I may use automatic data collection technologies, including Google Analytics, to measure traffic on my Websites (including your page views, length and frequency of visits, and your geographical location). The legal basis for processing this, mainly statistical data, is my legitimate interest in monitoring, maintaining, and improving the quality of my Websites, marketing, and Products.
2) Use of Cookies: I may use the standard “Cookies” technology found in major web browser software, which helps me to understand, and compile, data about my Websites traffic and interaction to help me improve user experience. Cookies are very small text files that transfer to your computer, or mobile device, hard drive. They allow my Websites to collect information about how you browse my Websites, store your preferences, and help you navigate between pages more effectively. 4) Monitoring and Recording of all your Communication: Monitoring or recording of your calls, emails, text messages, and other communications may take place in accordance with UK law, and in particular for business purpose, such as for: quality control and training; to prevent unauthorised use of thriving-woman's website, to ensure effective systems operations, and to prevent or detect crime.
WHAT I DO WITH INFORMATION COLLECTED:
1) Contact You: I may contact you if you give clear, affirmative consent for me to contact you; to deliver a Product or resource that you have chosen to purchase or download from me; or if you have a legitimate interest in me contacting you e.g to send you marketing emails about a free workshop that you chose to sign-up to. You can always opt-out of any of my emails (see number 6).
2) Process Payments: I will use the Personal Data that you give to me to process your payment for the purchase of Products from me.
3) Share with Third Parties: I use the information collected from you while you are using my Websites in a variety of ways. I may share your information, to the extent that is reasonably necessary, with trusted third parties, such as my newsletter service provider to contact you via email; secure merchant accounts to process or refund your payments for Products; or social media accounts to run advertisements. Please note I do not control the Privacy Policies of these third parties, and you should review their policy guidelines to find out how they store, use, and protect your Personal Data.
4) Viewing by Third Parties: When you voluntarily make your Personal Data information available to third parties, for example posting in a Facebook group, comments you send to me on thriving-woman’s social media platforms, on a group coaching call, or in chat areas, that information may be seen, collected, heard, and used by others. I cannot be responsible for any unauthorised or improper third-party use of the information you voluntarily share. I recommend you review the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of the social media platforms you use.
5) Legal Requirement: I may disclose your Personal Data to the extent permitted by law when, in good faith, I believe that i) it is required by law, or other government or regulatory agency; or (ii) to protect the legal rights, property, or safety of me or others; or iii) to enforce my Terms and Conditions or any other agreement between me and you.
6) Anti-Spam Compliance: In compliance with Anti-Spam laws, including GDPR and CAN-SPAM (2003) you can opt-out of my emails at any time using the unsubscribe button in the footer of all of my emails.
7) International Data: My Websites are hosted by servers located in the United States. Therefore, if you live outside of the United States, some of your data will be subject to international transfers to those servers. Data that is transferred is protected by the EU-US Privacy Shield, which you can find out more about at www.privacyshield.gov.
HOW I PROTECT AND STORE YOUR INFORMATION:
I use reasonable methods to ensure the safety and confidentiality of your Personal Data, including the use of a secure server. However, no security measure can be totally guaranteed, and you understand, and agree, that I am not responsible for any intercepted Personal Data that is shared without my knowledge or permission, and you release me from any, and all, claims that arise from the use of such intercepted information. Should I become aware of any breach of my security systems, or of any trusted third party, that may expose your Personal Data to any kind of risk, I will notify you promptly. As part of protecting your Personal Data, please be aware that email is not recognised as a secure method of communication. If you choose to share personal or private information with me, know that you do so at your own risk, and that I can not accept any responsibility for any unauthorised access, or loss of personal information, that is beyond my control.
You have the right to request a copy of the information I hold about you, and I will provide it in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format if requested. I will retain any Personal Data that you voluntarily provide to me until i) you ask me to delete the information or ii) the Personal Data is no longer needed to fulfil an obligation (for example to deliver emails, a Product, or for legal purposes) in which case I shall delete the information (other than where I can lawfully keep any data for audit or legal reasons).
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your Personal Data at any time, as well as the right to portability of your data. Your withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawful processing of your Personal Data that occurred prior to your withdrawal of consent. You have the right to make a complaint to a supervisory body responsible for your data protection if you think my data processing violates data processing laws.
